Hey there, I’m Irwan Setiawan. Engineer, founder, occasional mentor, and someone who’s spent way too much time trying to connect dots between code, systems, and people. I spent the last 15+ years building products across platforms and startups.
I’ve worn a few hats: writing code, designing system architecture, mentoring engineers, and now building startups that blend AI, system thinking, and human insight. Along the way, I noticed something: most engineers hit a ceiling not because of their technical skills, but because they stop seeing the bigger picture.
MacroStack is a place to think about the connection between good engineers and the bigger picture. It’s where I explore what it really takes to grow as an engineer, not just in syntax or frameworks, but in system thinking, strategic decision-making, and the human side of building things. A place to explore how good engineers become great.
